Hotel Portal FAQ
Short answers to common hotel-portal questions from hotel operators and chain teams.
What is hotel-portal for?
It is the operator workspace for hotels, companies, and chains to onboard properties, configure supply, and prepare hotels for live booking.
Do I need to enter company details during registration?
No. Registration should stay light. Company and property setup belong in onboarding after you enter the workspace.
Do I need a tenant ID to sign in?
Normally, no. Sign-in should be based on your operator identity first. Organization choice should happen after auth when needed.
Can one user belong to more than one organization?
Yes. One operator identity can belong to multiple organizations and can also create multiple organizations.
Should I create a new organization for every property?
Not usually. If the new hotel belongs under the same company or chain workspace, it should usually be added as another property in the existing organization.
When should I use Ask AI?
Use Ask AI when you need help understanding the next step, a blocker, or the right screen to open.
Is Ask AI the source of truth?
No. Ask AI is an operator aid. The live portal state and backend-backed product data remain the source of truth.
What should I set up first after signing in?
Usually:
- workspace profile
- first property draft
- rooms and rates
- inventory
- PMS/readiness review
Why am I blocked from going live even though the property looks complete?
Because visual completeness is not the same as structural readiness. Check:
- rooms and rates
- inventory coverage
- PMS mapping and readiness
- blocker cards in the onboarding flow
Where should I start if I am confused?
