Troubleshooting sign-in and organization access
Practical help for hotel operators when sign-in works poorly or organization access is unclear in hotel-portal.
Overview
Most sign-in issues in hotel-portal fall into one of these categories:
- you do not have an operator account yet
- you signed in successfully but do not land in the expected organization
- your organization access is missing or incomplete
- your session expired and you need to sign in again
The goal is to recover quickly without requiring technical knowledge.
If you do not have an operator account yet
If the system tells you that your email does not have access yet, the most common reason is simply that your operator account has not been created.
In that case:
- go to the registration flow
- create the operator account with your work email
- sign in again
Registration should stay light. Detailed company or property setup belongs in onboarding afterward.
If you signed in but do not see the right organization
Remember that one operator can:
- belong to multiple organizations
- create multiple organizations
If the wrong organization appears, or none appears:
- confirm that you signed in with the correct email
- check whether you should select a different organization after sign-in
- confirm that your access has been granted to the intended workspace
You should not need to guess a tenant ID to recover from this.
If you cannot access any organization
If sign-in works but you still cannot continue:
- your operator account may exist without organization membership yet
- your organization access may not have been granted yet
- your organization may need to be created first
At that point, the correct action is usually one of:
- create the first organization/workspace
- ask an organization admin to invite or grant access
- retry sign-in after access has been added
If your session expired
If the portal sends you back to sign in or tells you the session expired:
- sign in again
- choose the organization again if needed
- continue from the correct workflow page
This is a session issue, not usually a data-loss issue.
When Google sign-in behaves differently
If Google sign-in works but your organization access still does not:
- check whether the Google account email matches your operator email
- confirm the account was registered or invited correctly
- continue through organization selection if prompted
Google sign-in solves identity entry, not organization membership by itself.
What not to do
- Do not start by hunting for tenant IDs.
- Do not create duplicate organizations just because access looks wrong.
- Do not assume the problem is PMS or onboarding if you are blocked before entering the workspace.
Good support questions
If you need help from an admin or support team, ask clearly:
- "Does this operator email already exist?"
- "Which organization should this account belong to?"
- "Has this account been granted access yet?"
